my 15 months old baby is suffering from hard cough since last 3 days.both sides of the chest is frozen.she is also having trouble in breathing.suggest some instant relief .

A. any cough most of the time either it could be allergic or infective which needs proper evaluation. initially you can start by giving steam inhalation to your baby which will help in relieving symptoms to some extent and will make the baby comfortable.for small baby should be given indirectly from a distance.cough suppressants are usually avoided in children,it needs to be examined first before giving any kind of medicinaeede. so it will be better if you consult your doctor for proper guidance along with proper dosage for the kind of problem.
