the child is definitely having hard stools to the formula milk so it is advisable that you should change the brand of formula milk after consulting your doctor then only the problem will resolve

it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you will have to change the brand of formula milk.
it is very likely that you are giving formula milk so kindly change the brand of formula milk which is causing constipation

Changes in diet has to be made
Specially give papaya, banana, oats, fennel seeds water pear, prune, pineapple, resins, plum as it will help in decreasing constipation.
Even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine.
it is important for you to knowf that the problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child.
You may cincrease or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool.
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. U Can give five drops twice a day to the child for five days but it is not going to change the consistency of the motion there has to be some another issue associated if you want you can definitely talk to your doctor about it
