my 11 +years old daughter is having fever since yesterday morning. I m giving her dolo 250mg.fever is 102.sholudi I change the medicine? shold i give her meftal P syrup or tablet? nd how much

A. just Paracetamol is okay, unless recommended by the doctor Baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose. Viral fever can last from 3-5 days so you need to to give the prescribed medications for this duration at least and if it is persistent beyond you need to go for the investigation as per the advice of the doctor

A. If You see this medicine is helping then you can give this a start doing cold sponging specially on the forehead and behind the knees of your child because when you do it behind the knees the fever reduces down with a faster pace so I’m going to advise you to go ahead with that if the fever does not subside by tomorrow then consult your paediatrician immediately
