my 11 months old girl.suddenly has got high fever 102 F .it is not due to catch cold or something suddenly temperature rise up..what can be the reason and what to do

A. Fever can occur due to any viral or bacterial infections. Give medicine as advised by Paediatrician Tepid sponging should be done when fever exceeds 10l°F. Use tap water for sponging. Avoid using ice or cold water as it may suddenly reduce the temperature and cause shivering. Give nutritious food rich in proteins Adequate rest Better to consult Paediatrician
