Q.

my 11 months old boy is reducing milk intake 2-3 times in a day n 1-2 times in the night. sometimes he don't take milk during night time. I am scared he would wean off soon as I want to breastfeed him atleast for 2yrs. any suggestion to extend my breastfeeding. he is not like other babies who demands milk all the time or nurse to sleep

A. It may be due to teething. My baby have done the same thing when she was 11 months old. After two weeks she again got on track and even increased time of latching. No need to worry. Give her balanced diet in the day time. 2 to 3 times milk feeding is fine. During night feed her depending on her requirement.

A. please consult your dgoctor in such a case then only the correct diagnosis and treatment suggestion is possible after clinical examination and knowing complete history. its very difficult to comment here . .
