Q.

my 10 year old son has high bilirubin level . Is it normal or there is requirement of any phototherapy session . mother blood group is O+ve and baby is B+ve total bilirubin - 13 mg/dL Direct - 1.4 indirect. - 11.6

A. Actually not that I also but if your doctor advises you to get the phototherapy done then there is no harm because it is a normal figure which can be taken into consideration with the help of exposing your child into indirect and or giving vitamin D supplement but if the doctor say phototherapy is good then go for it
