Q.

My 10 months baby girl is suffering from heavy cough and cold I don't know what to do I also went to MBBS Dr. he gives some Syrup and medicines. but there is not any relief to my daughter please suggest me something.

A. Cough is a protective reflex of the body to expel out the mucus or any irritant factor from the respiratory tract which is most of the time assosiated with cold due to any viral or bacterial infection . A proper examination is required to find the cause . As a home remedy you can stajrt with steam inhalation . Cough can be treated with cough suppressant or antitussives as per the cause. Focr cold antihistamines are useful and nasal saline drops are also benifecial .

A. Hello dear parent! Complete the course of medication as prescribed by your doctor. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil for skin warmth. Keep your doctor posted about any changes or developments.
