Q.
my 10 month old baby has 100.2 fever,couple of days ago she had runny nose,but now along with fever she sneezed thrice and has runny nose little bit,i have given her 10 drops calpol yesterday night at 1:30a.m but again she gained 100.2 temperature by morning7:30,what should i do now for temperature to go down

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. when you take the temperature in the armpit of the child with the help of a digital thermometer and if it is 99 f (37 c) or more then you consider it as fever or when you take the temperature in the oral cavity of the child and if it is 100 degree fahrenheit then you consider it as fever and then paracetamol is given.r along with paracetamol continue body sponge and keep the child in light clothes. f paracetamol can be repeated maximum four times per day.

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr 1 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give Calpol after every 6 hours not before that. Please give the baby indirect steam. If fever does not come down after 2 days then please consult a doctor. Thanks and take care
