Q.

My 10 month baby was having gastrointestinal infection on 4th April after diagnosis.....it continued for a week with loose motions...and yesterday she was passing transparent jelly stool with blood traces in it.....im worried plz help me what is this?? and how can it be cured

A. Jelly like stool with blood could also be a sign of intussusseption.The baby might also require surgery if it is really intussusception. It is advisable that consult your pediatrician immediatelyWrite Your Answer Here

A. i visited to doctor today but he said it is some amebiosis infection....he has prescribed nitazoxanide syrup
