Q.
my 10 month baby head is hot but temperature is normal in thermometer why is it so? should I consult to doctor.

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist4 years agoA. hi j head is the largest surface area and large number of sweat glands hence temperature regulation happens through the head. so it might feel warm wear weather appropriate clothing. nothing to worry about it is normal in babies

Not Needed if the temperature is 199° fahrenheit then it is not you are you do not have to consult you have to give any medicine to the child also I would like to inform you hear that the body temperature of kids are usually higher than the adults but it is not necessarily fever all the time so don’t don’t don’t give any medicine to the child if the temperature is below 99° fahrenheit
