my 1 yr and 7 month old baby girl has craving for eat mud, if she went out side for playing she eat mud(chikhal) why she has craving for that?

This could be due to deficiency of calcium otherwise pica is an issue which is common with kids or even adult sometimes with want to eat all kind of inedible things so maybe that is the same reason with your child I would say just get a check with your paediatrician
