ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. cold sponging and see a doctor.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.See in such cases the child needs specialist care always. So try to follow with the same doctor and do not get anxious with s variety of opinion. Focus on treatment ok.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Give paracetamol to ur baby. Repeat the dose after six hours if fever comes again... U can also do tepid sponging by keeping wet cloth on the forehead to bring down the temperature. Give easily digestable food like khichdi, rice curd, Banana, apple, sooji etc to ur baby. Do not force feed ur baby as the appetite decreases when the babies are not well
