Q.
my 1 year old daughter is having cold and cough since 2 days...it increases at night shez not able to sleep due to coughing and gets up and cry...also she is not able to breathe properly due to congestion..doctor has advised respicure syrup, phexin redisyp and noble plus syrup 3tyms for 5 days...still after 2 days there is not much improvement..please help..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examfination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor .
As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful .
Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .
