A. white spots on the nail most commonly occurs post illness or due to trauma on the nails. very rarely it might be associated with nutritional deficiency and most commonly iron deficiency. no treatment is required and gradually the white spots will disappear baby teeth can become discolored for many reasons, including: 1.inadequate brushing. if baby teeth aren't brushed properly. bacterial infection can cause such black staining of tooth due to decay. 2.medication use. infant medications containing iron, such as supplemental vitamins, might cause stains on baby teeth. 3.tooth injury. a single dark tooth could be the result of bleeding within the tooth due to dental trauma. 4.illness. long standing disease illnesds as well as nutritional deficiencies can cause pigmentation of the tooth.
