Q.

My 1 month old baby' jaundice is persisting for more than a month. Dr has suspected it to be a breastmilk jaundice. Baby is under phototherapy now. Dr has advised to discontinue breastfeeding for a few days. But many have strongly recommended for continuation of breastfeeding

A. Hello mom normally you can give breast milk, and sunlight exposure is quite benefical and helpful in such cases, but as you have mentioned it is breast milk jaundice then in such case , photothreapy is quite good, so go as per doctors advice .
