My 1 month baby is suffering from gastric problem. she is not able to sleep comfortably. What is the solution Dr?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. the recurrent stretching / curving of the body again and again as well as uncomfort / making grunting sounds as well as hiccups as well as colic pain all are due to gas in the intestine and stomach.
it is very important that after giving milk to the child you
should keep the child in upright position and do burping for 15 to 20 minutes(irrespective that you hear the burps or not). gas in stomach causes hiccups.
do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because one time burping will nzot remove all the gas and if the gas is not removed properly it goes into intestine causing abnormal distension and that will lead to colic pain again and again.
keep thze child in upright position whether you hear the burping sound or not and also it is not important that you will hear the sound when the child removes the air from the oral cavity.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is quite normal and please give baby breastfeeding properly and exclusively and also apply hing water paste on baby stomach. And give baby burp after feed.
