Q.

My 1 month and 22 days baby boy have some lump in the one side of groin area, without pain. I visited a pediatrician and he told , after physical verification that it is hernia without any ultrasound or x ray and referred to pediatric surgeon. I again visited a pediatric surgeon then he also told that it is inguinal hernia and suggested for surgery. But i think that it may be cyst or lymph node swelling. Pls suggest that surgery is the only option or i may wait and watch or what should I do.
