Q.

my 1.5 year child frequently get loose motions. my doc keep advising zinconia syrup for 12-15 days and probiotics. once medicine course complete he remains ok for 5-7 days. again same problem. I did consulted with 3 doctor nearby every one giving zinconia/zn 20 and probiotics. occasionally some antibiotics. what could be the problem and is it some chronic problem for future?

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where sygtmptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mfucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
