Q.

My 1.5 year baby has cold since last week and our pediatrician gave me medicine for cold (Phenylephrine HCL & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup I. P.). After 5 days baby has cough only in the morning for 2 days. I have consulted my pediatrician. Doctor told me that she has chest congestion ( I think due to mucus). And gave me Cefdinir oral suspension and also gave me Ambroxol HCL Guaiphenesin & Levosalbutamol syrup. But after visiting the doctor she don't have cough. So is it necessary to give the Ambroxol HCL medicine?
