Q.
my 1.3 yrs son is facing loose motions for the last 3 days. given enterogermina and z&d suspension but not much improvement. poo is frequent and semi solid with mucus in it. Pl advise.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. it is ok for now .Loose motion is mainly due to some viral infection . And is treated by just probiotics like enterogermina and o r s to drink for prevention of any type of dehydration . If any vomiting then vomikind can be given for that . Also avoid milk .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl4 years agoA. hi as your child is passing stool with mucus,you should consult your pediatrician. because it is sign of an Infection too. give sporlac powder in 2 drops quantity twice in a day keep your child well hydrated give natural probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk etc more.
