Q.

#motherhood hello doctor....m 38 weeks pregnant....and right now my baby is all set in downward position...my doc told me that she will do delivery on 38 weeks 4th day... though I dnt hv labour pain yet ..not I hv any issue regarding baby...my baby is around 3kg....I jst hv gestational diabetes which is in control rht now as I take glychiphage 500 2 times a day....is it apt to go for induced labour as m scared it's my first pregnancy

A. I know it is a bit scary but it is not advisable to prolong the pregnancy when you have gestational diabetes even though it is under control. A. good afternoon is best to discuss these matters with your gynecologist who has supervised your health throughout the period of your pregnancy should be able to guide you better that induced labour would be good or not
