Q.

more than 20 days she has cough and given syrup as per dictor advice but still not rectify. please suggest.

A. give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity. try to prevent temperature variations around the child you can go for indirect steam inhalation which will again help in decreasing both cough andd cold continue the regular diet of the child if there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctor for feverd and pain give paracetamol. anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

A. Hello this requires a proper medical attention and it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too and you should be giving medicine only for prescribed number of days and overdose can be a problem
