Mom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy8 years ago
Q.

Mommies my baby is 4 months old. He has been rolling over since almost a month now. Only from back to tummy. He does not yet roll over from his tummy to back. He can lift his head very well while on tummy. Of late when I put him to sleep on his back at night he sleeps for about 20 mins on his back and after that he immediately turns to his right side or roll over to tummy and sleep. It's been happening since a week and how much ever I turn him to his back he still comes back to his side or on his tummy. As this is one of the main cause of SIDS, I'm really worried and have been having sleepless nights as I check every 20 min once to see his sleeping position. It's 3.30am and have not really slept so far and only been checking him.

A. Keep pillows both sides..don't let him sleep on his tummy.. He is too small for that. Check every hour..it will be difficult but you have to do it.

A. Keep pillows to both the sides of baby. Else try using a crib. Sleeping sometimes on tummy is OK. Keep monitoring.
