Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. straining while passing stool as well as urine is normal. the child is crying due to colic pain (due to gas) and not due to the reason that the child has not passed the stool. infants may not pass stool for 10 days also and if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid it is not constipation. you can consider constipationx only if it is hard and dry stools. you can give anticolic medicines and meet your doctor. burping / upright position for 20 minutes will help in decreasing the xgas and future colic pain

AbhayaMom of a 16 yr old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there, Ma’am. Please do not worry about it too much. Please massage baby stomach clockwise and anticlockwise with hing water. Also do some leg exercise of the baby. Make the baby burp after every feed Mother. Should chew saunf and ajwain after every meal. Thanks and take care
