A. as baby s age is 3 years hard stools is common due to change in food pattern and content. For immediate relief from constipation u can use dulcolax / glycerin suppository. To avoid and  rectify constipation u shud focus on diet change. U shud give fibre rich fruits/pulpy seasonal fruits like mango apple pear pomegranate  n green leafy vegetables like beans palak brocolli etc. Give fruits mix in milk as shakes Increase water content and give plenty of other fluids also

A. To soften the stools and make them easier to pass, increase the amount of non-dairy fluid and fiber your child gets each day. High-fiber foods include fruits and fruit juices that contain sorbitol (prune, mango, pear), vegetables (broccoli, peas), beans, and whole-grain breads and cereals.
