A. there is always a chance of neonatal jaundice in small children within one or maximum 2 weeks of birth in which the skin as the eyes may appear yellow. you have to meet the doctor for evaluation of the jaundice. normal simple jaundice will go away on its own with only breastfeeding but if it is more your doctor will advise phototherapy. the yellowness from the eyes may take around 1 to 1 and half month to totally go away.

A. Hi If you even have 1% of doubt you should consult your doctor for a checkup because jaundice can come any time after birth it’s better to get it assessed know at least will be sure about it and also talk to your doctor and if they called just get your child checked ones and also if it is not the keep your child in San in direct sun rays for about 40 to 60 minutes in the morning that is going to help in good absorption of vitamin D and will eliminate signs of jaundice as well
