A. Introduce finger foods to your baby and ensure that baby handles his or her food independently and encourage him to eat the food. Offer a variety of healthy food choices. Try to be creative with whatever you cook for the baby. Experiment with colourful fruits and vegetables. Do not force your baby to eat as this creates a power struggle and your baby won't respond positively. Try to have meals as a family so that your baby learns good eating habits from parents and siblings. Persistence is the key. So you would have to offer same food item 10-15 times before the baby gives in. Prepare mashed versions of the foods so that they cannot identify or separate the foods they do not like.
