A. there is no problem in using air conditioner for children as well as newborns but the air current should be slightly away .d
you can keep the temperature at around 28 degree celsius to 30 degree celsius.
one way to know whether the child is feeling cold or not would be by touching the palms soles and ears of the child and if they are warm the child is warm and comfortable and if they are cold the child is feeling cold.

A. Coughing and sneezing can occur in babies for various reasons, including minor illnesses like the common cold or allergies. While occasional coughing and sneezing may be normal, especially if your baby doesn't have any other concerning symptoms, it's essential to monitor your baby closely and take appropriate steps to ensure their comfort and well-being.
Here are some tips to consider:
1. **Consult with a pediatrician**: If your eight-month-old baby is coughing and sneezing frequently, it's a good idea to consult with a pediatrician. They can evaluate your baby's symptoms, rule out any underlying causes or infections, and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
2. **Check for other symptoms**: Keep an eye out for any other symptoms in your baby, such as fever, difficulty breathing, changes in appetite, or irritability. If you notice any concerning symptoms, seek medical advice promptly.
3. **Monitor the sleeping environment**: While it's common for babies to sleep in air-conditioned rooms, make sure the temperature is comfortable and not too cold. Ensure the room is adequately ventilated and not too dry, as dry air can irritate the respiratory tract. Additionally, consider using a humidifier to help keep the air moist, especially if your baby is experiencing coughing or congestion.
4. **Practice good hygiene**: Wash your hands frequently, especially before handling your baby, to reduce the risk of spreading any infections. Avoid close contact with your baby when you're sneezing or coughing, and consider wearing a mask if you're sick to minimize the risk of transmission.
5. **Offer fluids**: Make sure your baby stays well-hydrated by offering breast milk, formula, or small amounts of water if they're old enough. Staying hydrated can help loosen mucus and soothe the throat.
6. **Use saline drops**: If your baby has a stuffy nose, you can try using saline nasal drops to help clear their nasal passages. Follow the instructions carefully when using saline drops, and avoid using them excessively.
If your baby's symptoms persist or worsen, or if you have any concerns about their health, it's important to seek medical advice from a pediatrician. They can provide personalized advice and recommendations based on your baby's individual needs and symptoms.
