Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomitinttg and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell fmucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
