mere beti ko 8,9 din ho gaya h fever h ..medcn lene se utar jata h fever fir se aa ja ta h iska kya reason h?? aur sar , pith, pet itna hi garam rehta h aur hata per thanda rehta h ..esa kyun hota h

A. Fever is a reaction of the body to different pyrogens released during any Infection. Usually temp more than 99 F is taken as fever . Mostly in children fever is because of viral infections like flu or RSV where the fever is there for 4-5 days but may persist even upto 2 weeks . Initially antipyretic like paracetamol is given in a dose of 15 mg / kg/ dose. Can be repeated after 4-6 hrs if needed . Lukewarm sponge bath can be given as home remedy to decrease fever. too Adequate fluid intake is also beneficial. Urine output monitoring is necessary to avoid dehydration .

A. Please take a blood test for the child without that we cannot be sure about it but looks like some kind of an infection or there could be a possibility of typhoid also so it’s better to check with the doctor for a blood test to have better clarity and treatment associated with that
