mere baby ko 6 month vali vaccine lgi hai hai or abhi use 100 f fever hai kya kru or head bahut garm hai kya kru

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a reaction of the body to different pyrogens released during any Infection. Usually temp more than 99 F is taken as fever .
Mostly in children fever is because of viral infections like flu or RSV where the fever is there for 4-5 days but may persist even upto 2 weeks .
Initially antipyretic like paracetamol is given in a dose of 15 mg / kg/ dose. Can be repeated after 4-6 hrs if needed .
Lukewarfym sponge bath can be given as home remedy to decrease fever.
Adequate fluid intake is algso beneficial.
Urine output monitoring is necessary to avoid dehydration .

Give paracetamol or Calpol whatever is easily available for you as of now you should just go ahead with giving the same medicine to the child because that is what is going to help in reducing down fever has after vaccination fever is quite common with kidsWrite Your Answer Here
