Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations.
many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections.
it is very common that children will have a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever before 5 years of age and after that a proper imdmunity is developed and then this problem will go away.
get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasing this problem

You can give allegra syrup. You can also give 1 teaspoon of honey twice a day. It will also give relief if your baby is having dry cough. Still you baby doesn’t get relieved that in such case you have to consult with your doctor about it because Dr can only advise you will after examining baby.
