mera beta 2 year 3 month ka h use jab bhi sardi hoti h uska kaan behna suru ho jata h uske doctor kehte h ye normal h par har baar itna jyada kaan pakna usse mavaad jesa kuch mujhe tension h kya karna chahiye kya kisi ear specialist ko dikhana chahiye

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a pcart of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi as your pediatrician said it is normal ,as such no need to worry. although as a child is getting it frequently and if there is no recovery ,it is better to take second opinion from other pediatrician . please keep your child well hydrated give Luke warm water to drink avoid giving cold and sugary food items. prefer weather appropriate clothes. give Sunbath for 20 minutes a day.
