Medicine for dry cough 1yr 11m old 10kg baby

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expetctorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor accordfning to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

U can give t minic drops for cough and give steam inhalation to your baby two three times a day.
Apply coconut oil infused with tulsi leaves on the chest and throat of the baby to get relief from dry cough
