#mamypoko hellow doctor my 7month baby has got fungus infection in diaper area doctor suggested candid lotion even though it has not gone infact recently I observed that it was spreading more please advise a good medicine and i hd even used absorb powder also

Dr Rashmi SriramMom of a 9 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. hi please do not use candid b ointment as it has steroid. Care of diaper area is important. Use good quality diapers such as pampers premium. Change diapers once in 3 hours.

Candid b ointment Would be a better choice than going for a lotion so you can apply that regularly onto that area gradually it is going to subside and slower down still if you feel it is spreading and troubling your child and you should definitely consult your paediatrician
