#Mamaxpert hi doc.my lo is 3.5month old.he goes poop once in 3 days.but that day he went 5 times approx.is it normal ?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. yes all such variations are normal. it s ok for a baby to not do potty daily as the diet is basically liquid as milk. So even if baby does not poop for 7 days it s all ok and should not be given any medicine at all

Yes this is totally normal. Sometimes babies don’t pass a stool for many days and sometimes for more than seven days and it is also considered normal. This is all because babies are totally on mother’s milk and there is very less waste left in their stomach to poop out. That’s why they don’t to daily
