You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be because of factors lifke temperature of the roomn nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunger.
In older children a proper discipline is required so that the sleeping pattern can be scheduled according to a proper time try to avoid too much of screen time with sometimes can be the causative factor for disturbed sleep.

Older children might like to wind down by reading a book, listening to gentle music or practising breathing for relaxation. If your child takes longer than 30 minutes to fall asleep, your child might need a longer wind-down time before turning the lights out to go to sleep.
