Q.

Mam my son is 2.8 yr old having recurrent episode of e.coli stool infection so many antibiotics are resistant but amikacin and Amoxicillin potassium calvunate is sensitive.This time I am giving clavam 200,with pre probiotic and zinc.i want to know that is it curable? what should be the antibiotics course duration?

A. Till the time the infection does not subside completely you may have to continue with the course of medication and even if it is antibiotics you may have to continue with them but the doctors are only going to give you proper assistance on the situation from time to time
