Maam my child has a black spot in his gums why does this occur?

A. Hi black staining of gums occurs due to melanin pigmentation..this condition of gum will be reduced with time as the kid grows.. or else if it persists then there are various treatment modalities available in later stages of life..

A. Hi Certain times these things are possible with iron supplement but since you are saying it is on the gums you please get a check with the doctor a child dentist maybe it could be a sign of something else as well because without proper checkup I cannot advise you the correct thing
