Q.

last week my baby had a single incident of vommiting and then we gave her sporolac and enterogermina for 5 days, we finished course yesterday, today she was having jelly like white substance in stool in small amount

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be hhmaintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
