Q.

Last Monday my baby had fever . course of 5 days medicine is completed yet sometimes I feel his head and body little hot if checked fever it shows 97-98 why is it happening

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce feverbut if it continues further kyou should consult your doctor for proper treatment regarding this
