A. it's viral rash fever with rash are usually viral infection and they are self limiting that is self resolving disease. for fever you have to continue to give paracetamol and it can be given after every 6 hours if fever is coming. give plenty of fluids to drink to the child and do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. after 2 days if it is not improving meet your ddoctor for medicines. if you feel that the child is having skin itching then meet your doctor more early

A. Hi Rupa, I'm sorry to hear about your baby not feeling well. For a one-year, nine-month-old baby with a fever and rashes, it's important to consider a few steps to ensure she gets the proper care: 1. **Monitor the Fever**: Keep track of your baby's fever. If the fever is high (above 102°F or 39°C) or persistent for more than a day or two, it would be best to consult a pediatrician. You can use a fever-reducing medication like paracetamol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen, but always follow the dosage recommended by the pediatrician. 2. **Check for Allergic Reactions**: The rashes might be a reaction to something. Make sure she hasn’t been exposed to any new foods, medications, soaps, or detergents recently. 3. **Apply Calamine Lotion**: For the red rashes on her body and feet, applying a gentle lotion like calamine may help soothe itching or discomfort. 4. **Maintain Hydration**: Ensure your baby stays hydrated, especially if she has a fever. Offer plenty of fluids, like water, breast milk, or formula. 5. **Cool Compress**: Use a cool, damp cloth on the rashes to soothe irritation and reduce inflammation. 6. **Avoid Overheating**: Dress your baby in light, breathable clothing to prevent overheating, which can worsen rashes and discomfort. 7. **Seek Medical Attention**: Since the rashes are combined with a fever, it’s important to consult a pediatrician to rule out any serious conditions like a viral or bacterial infection, which might require specific treatment. Keep an eye on any other symptoms like difficulty breathing, persistent crying, swelling, or spreading rashes. If you notice any of these, or if the fever or rashes worsen, seek medical help immediately.
