Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. for big children it is important to increase the physical activity of the child during the daytime and also see that the child is drinking plenty of water and is having a good diet just before sleep but at the same time the diet should be easily digestible and not very heavy diet which is causing more gas formation beczause that also can lead to digestion problem and that can disturb the sleep.
also it is important to look for any environmental disturbance which is affecting the sleep like temperature variatxions as well as the mattress problem.
rule out constipation which might be causing gastric disturbance and change in sleep pattern

It is actually essential for a child to sleep for at least 8 to 10 hours during this age also if your child is not sleeping properly then I think you need to get your child more tired in wall your child more into physical activities so why then your child will get tired and will sleep well
