A. yes may be due to cold.. their breathing seems to be noisy many a times due to their saliva gathered in the mouth and .. unlike the adults they cannot swallow their saliva properly.. so when they breathe through the saliva.. it makes the noisy breath... so don't worry too much.. it's normal... the baby will grow out of it as their lungs develop... many a times the pediatrician can prescribed saline drops .... but it can not be helpful in all the cases... but don't worry too much... It is completely normal... baby will grow out of it.. keep the baby in elevated position while sleeping.. use horse shoe pillow .... also check for cold and congestion.. sometimes the cold and congestion can increase the noisy breathing...
