Q.

It seems that my baby has a fungal infection around her mouth, especially below the lip corner. In an initial examination, her doctor said that, it's just rashes and no need to worry. But, after somedays, I felt that it is some kind of fungal infection. So, I telephoned him and asked his advise. Since, I am not in a situation to take her to the hospital, he was hesitant to prescribe a medicine without seeing the infection. Finally, he advised to use Nuforce gm ointment. However, I couldn't get it anywhere. Doctor, could you please suggest an alternative that is safe for my baby? There are chances she may lick it while applying.

A. hello skin problems looks similar but the causes can be different and o understand it is not safe taking child for hospital but a video consultation could really be helpful so it is better to check with your doctor via video call and then get medication prescribed by your doctor
