Taking two Iron tablets once, especially without their doctors, explicit instruction, can cause significant gastrointestinal discomfort and potential safety risk. Further more taking a large dose at a single time does not necessarily mean your body will absorb twice the amount. If Dr has confirmed that you require higher daily dose to correct iron deficiency, they will typically recommend a structured scheduling and advice.
