is side lying position good in breastfeeding?

ExpertRamya RamachandranNutritionist7 years agoA. Dear ma'am, as long as you and your baby are comfortable, you can feed in any position. Make sure the baby is latched well in that position. That's very important. If latched well, the baby will get enough milk.

It's better to feed the baby in the sitting position can put a pillow on your lap and make the baby sleep on the pillow also keep a pillow behind your back for support. But sometimes it's ok to feed in the lying position if the baby is comfortable but be careful and alert

NikithaMom of a 11 yr 4 m old child7 years agoA. hello...it is good to breastfeed your baby with sitting position . feed baby in upright position ..it's good to sit and feed till atleast baby head gets stiff...later you may feed your baby in lying position so that baby will also be comfortable...now baby may not be comfortable
