Is safe to give Polio drops in fever. My daughter is given govt polio drops and she has mild fever.

A. Hello, if your child has mild fever with no other symptoms like severe cough you give polio drops immunization to ur baby. Avoid polio drops in case of high fever, let him recover first.

A. As the polio vaccine is administered orally, it is much easier and does not require specialised health professionals or equipment. The OPV can be given if your baby has fever or diarrhoea, however, do consult your doctor.
