Dr Medha PatilMom of a 9 yr 1 m old boy6 years agoA. Rotavirus vaccine is an important vaccine and should not be missed. Rotavirus causes diarrhea, vomiting and fever in babies . 40% of diarrhoeal episodes are due to rotavirus leafing to about 78000 deaths in children in India. Rotavirus vaccine will prevent this especially if given in early months of age.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children6 years agoA. Yes it is important. Rotavirus is a virus which causes severe infection in the bowels. It is the main cause for severe diahrreah in infants and younger kids. So it is always advisable to get the baby rotavirus vaccine.
