You can give it not a problem but I would always recommend you to check with your doctor in the first place like get a physical assessment done by your doctor and then you give a medicine medicine is available in the market are good for cold and cough but all the medicines are not suitable for the issue that the child are having because sometimes it’s due to allergy sometimes to do infection which is why you need to be more sure about it
